Clinton High School Alumni Association

A high priority for the association is the recognition of outstanding performance by students and faculty. Awards have been awarded to retired faculty members and there are plans to present awards to outstanding existing faculty members. In 2001, the association presented Coach George Cronia and Coach Johnny McDaniel engraved pavers that will be part of the Clinton Olde Towne Streetscape. Funds were donated by several members of the classes of 1954, 1955, 1956 and 1966. The year 1955 was the first year Clinton won a Mississippi Basketball Championship. The banner may be seen in the gym of the new Clinton High School Building on Arrow Drive.

Every 9 weeks, a faculty member at CHS with perfect attendance is entered in a drawing for $50 awarded by the CHSAA.
